We want everyone who visits the Gibson House Bed & Breakfast website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding. It’s important to us that our website is accessible and easy to use for all persons with disabilities. The following provides our current status regarding the accessibility of our web content and physical location. To help us make the Gibson House Bed & Breakfast website a positive place for everyone, our website, GibsonHouseBB.com, is built on the WordPress platform. Since 2016, all new or updated code released into WordPress core and bundled themes conform with the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA. WCAG stands for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, created by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and user-friendly for everyone. With every release WordPress gets more accessible for users with disabilities.
Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing. Our Physical Location
Since the Gibson House Bed and Breakfast structure was built in 1850, there are limited facilities regarding handicapped accessibility. The common areas or rooms are not ADA Compliant or Wheelchair Accessible and is not required at this time to provide accessibility (See New Hampshire Division of Historic Resources). Gibson House has multiple levels and there is no elevator. Some guests with mobility issues may find accessibility a challenge. Please count on us to gladly assist you with your bags. We are sorry we cannot accommodate all visitors due to the architecture of our bed and breakfast inn.
